I finally took the plunge and climbed Borneo's highest peak, Mount Kinabalu.
It is an awesome experience, full of ups and downs.
The experiences are once of a lifetime.
Making the decision to climb was easy, but the climb itself was an eye opener. Nothing could prepare me for the altitude sickness or the rocky terrain.
I am very well equipped for the cold, with Gore-tex Jacket, shoes and pants. I have a pair of spring loaded walking sticks and thermal/compression sports wear.
